Essai clinique randomisé sans insu sur les traitements comparant l’efficacité et la tolérance de deux stratégies thérapeutiques, darunavir/r + ténofovir + emtricitabine versus darunavir/r + raltegravir, chez les personnes vivant avec le VIH-1 débutant des antirétroviraux.
Comme chaque année, l’été a été chaud… pour se procurer ses traitements. Cette année plus grave encore, car les ruptures de stock ont aussi entraîné des ruptures de traitement pour certains malades.
Depuis le début du mois, les personnes vivant avec le VIH sont confrontées à des ruptures de stocks inacceptables de médicaments antirétroviraux. Ces ruptures dont la fréquence augmente depuis deux ans s’accroissent pendant l’été et ont semble-t-il été amplifiées par une grève des personnels de GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).

Today, Act Up-Paris and other activists took possession of Bristol Myers Squibb's booth during more than half an hour. After having closed the booth, they asked to talk to a representative of the pharma lab. They talked to the head of the communication who answered activists questions — into the megaphone and in front of lots of video cameras — regarding the issue of the threats of stockouts of the pediatric antiretroviral Videx. The activists wanted to denounce Bristol Myers Squibb contempt towards people living with HIV, and CSOs.
Miss Pharma's Pet, alias Melle Toutou-des-Labos, a chanté la chanson suivante sur le stand de la Commission européenne, puis lors d'une session d'un repésentant de la DG Trade. L'air est celui de "Barbie Girl" d'Aqua.
Mercredi, des activistes ont manifesté pour dénoncer la politique actuelle de la commission européenne en matière d'accès aux médicaments.
